People with Disabilities ACT have launched a Consumer Strengthening Project funded by a Disability ACT Innovations Grant. The project aims to build the capacity of people with disabilities to be consumer representatives and leaders.
A highlight of the project will be a training workshop to equip people with disabilities to become community leaders and represent the views of peers to government and other agencies. If you would like to attend, please register your interest via the project contacts below.
The project will also include opportunities for people with disabilities to register their skills and interests with us via an online Consumer Skills Register.
The Register is currently under development and will be available soon.
